From breathtaking fjords to dense pine forests, turquoise glaciers to historic castles and charming locals, Scandinavia offers a splendid and spectacular mix of natural, cultural and historical wonders.
Ski and snowboard on the Olympic slopes in Lillehammer, Norway. Feel the adrenaline rush as you watch a whale breach in Iceland. See the midnight sun on a romantic getaway to Norway’s Lofoten Islands, or bring the kids to Sweden to retrace your ancestry as a family. Scandinavia has something for everyone.
For an exotic experience like no other, spend the night in a hotel made entirely of ice and snow! The ICEHOTEL is located in Swedish Lapland, above the Arctic Circle. Each winter, it has a new design and new rooms, created with 30,000 tons of snow and 10,000 tons of crystal clear ice from the nearby Torne River. The temperature in the ICEHOTELranges between -4 and -9 C, depending on the temperature outside and the number of overnight guests. This unique structure is truly a work of art – it even has its own, Ice Bar (yes, made of snow & ice). On a clear night the peaceful north, there is a good chance to see the infamous Northern Lights dancing in the sky.
